Austen Knapman is a Devon based family business that has been established for more than twenty- five years and in that time has built a reputation founded on excellent customer service, prompt and efficient delivery, and an extensive knowledge of the steel industry.

Our client base extends to a wide range of industries from agricultural fabrications to ship repair, and includes every scale of operation from domestic building projects to civil engineering contracts. Throughout our years of trading we have built a reputation with our clients not only for excellent service but also for our ability to reliably source small quantities of material and more obscure items with the same efficiency.

Our transport fleet currently includes five vehicles ranging in size from a pick-up truck to an eighteen tonne lorry fitted with lifting gear, allowing us to offload an order of any size anywhere, even where there is no lifting apparatus available.
