Hocknull’s is the Islands oldest private owned family business, now into its third generation.

Founded in 1961 from a railway siding at Smithards lane Cowes, the company has grown over the 50 plus years including expanding to a yard at Freshwater for some years, and now we have moved to a new centralised location at The Yard, Dodnor lane, Newport, Isle of wight, PO30 5TE, offering a much better central position.

Hocknull,s are very proud of the professional efficient service that we offer. We like to feel each customer has their individual needs catered for, whether it be a home delivery, cash and carry or just advise, our staff are always friendly and caring.

We pride ourselves in offering quality products of Coal, Smokeless fuel, logs, Kindling wood, Paraffin and bottled gas both butane and propane, regular Island wide deliveries, and of course all are available for collection on a cash and carry basis.
